Dear Family and Friends,

Merry Christmas! I pray that this letter finds you and your family well during this most wonderful holiday. The Lord has been so faithful! He is doing wonderful things and I know that He will continue to be faithful to finish the good work He has started in me.  God has given me to the opportunity to go to India and Nepal on a mission trip for 4 months with one of my counselors from Cedar Campus and 4 other guys.  Adventures in Mission(AIM) is the sponsoring organization.

On January 12, I will be flying to Delhi, India and traveling throughout Nepal. We’ll go from city to city and then deeper into the country to contact villagers and orphans to spread the love and word of Christ. We’ll be returning back to America sometime in the beginning of May.

The trip is being funded entirely through donations and by those going on the mission trip.  The cost for a trip like this is about $4000 per person.  I have been working hard at UPS and Papa John’s pizza to try to do my part.

I am excited about the opportunity to serve the people of India and I ask you to join me in this ministry. I am seeking your support and prayers for this mission trip. If you are able to assist financially with this trip, I would ask that you forward any donation to me with the check or money order payable to me, with the memo AIM Mission Trip. An accounting of all funds will be available, should you desire to see it, upon our return from India.

I thank you in advance for your prayers and your financial support. May God bless you richly!

         His, therefore Yours,

  1. Ben,
You are the best babysitter ever! I wanted to go over to your house and see you, but you were already in India. That is so cool. I hope you learn a lot about Jesus on your trip.
    love,
    Tommy
ps- you will be so proud of me- I can name all the Beatles now. Ringo is my favorite because he plays drums.
pps- you should update your blog a lot.

  2. Thank you guys. I Miss Tommy very much. Go Beatles! God is doing wonderful things through us here. It’s very different here and in a way much more beautiful and free. The people that do want to learn the word of god are very excited by it and want to learn as much as we can tell them. God is good! We’ve been very blessed. I hope to have the kids were teaching English for the next couple weeks learn the alphabet and at least one sentence or bible story. Thank you for the support and prayers. I’m positive that god will lead us to do great things and witness more miracles. His presence is so strong and influential.

  3. Ps- We are in Dehradun now and for the next week and a half. Were praying for god to tell us where to go next. It’s a beautiful place, very slowly getting used to the food. Not a lot of meat and it tends to be spicy no matter what. No beef anywhere pretty much but I think I’ll get over that too. All of you are in my prayers and through your support I find the drive to go deeper pray harder and be more open with spreading the word of god.

  4. Hey man of God, you don’t know me but I really sense you need encouragement right now. DO NOT QUIT!!! Do not give up on ourself or what God is doing in you. Sometimes following God is incredibly difficult; it even hurts at times, but nothing I mean nothing compares to the freedom and liberation that comes from the cleansing blood of Jesus. Keep pressing into His presense. Cry, wrestle, fight…because you must. God loves you. You are capable in Him to face any demon, any dark place that may be in your heart.

I say again, my brother, do not quit. Do not fold. Do not back down. Never quit fighting.

Rise up man of God. Rise up and walk and live like a king.

  5. Amen. I will never quit. I did return home about a day ago. I felt as if God were calling me back to face the demons and struggles awaiting me back home. I’ve conquered them and brought and will continue to bring struggling friends and friends of friends to faith. God is Good! I felt he wanted me here to get over the things I’ve lacked to drop in the past and with the fire under my feet I feel his grace flowing through me. I’ve brought three friends to faith and have been home for only a day and a couple hours. I feel his presence stronger than I ever have and am loving it. I am very thankful for all your prayers and support. I look to minister to those who have the ear to hear the gospel and truth of Christ and then go off to school to get my degree so I can begin to teach. Praise God! God Bless.
